Yariana’s Cleveland Quinceañera: Hilton Preparations & Botanical Garden Portraits

Yariana’s quinceañera portraits brought together two beautiful sides of Cleveland: the downtown skyline and the greenery of Cleveland Botanical Garden. Her day began with getting ready at the Hilton in downtown Cleveland, where a pink gown, a sparkling tiara, and a bouquet of pink roses set the tone for the photographs.

At TheWiz Photography, I photographed both the carefully chosen details and the moments between them—the smiles in the mirror, the helping hands, and the time Yariana shared with the people around her. This collection follows that story from the hotel room to the garden.

Getting Ready at the Hilton in Downtown Cleveland

Before Yariana put on her gown, I photographed it beside the hotel window. The floral appliqué, beading, silver heels, and jewelry each deserved a place in the story. Together, those details show how much thought went into her quinceañera look.

The preparations also gave us some of the most personal photographs of the day. Yariana smiled in the mirror as her makeup was finished, posed beside her dress in a pink robe, and shared a playful smile while the back of her gown was fastened. Photographs of her necklace and shoes being adjusted captured the care behind those final touches.

Once she was ready, the hotel offered a different setting for her portraits. Window views connected the photographs to downtown Cleveland, while the lobby gave us room to show the gown’s full shape and flowing train. An overhead portrait highlighted the layers of pink fabric, followed by close-up and family photographs before the garden session.

Quinceañera Portraits at Cleveland Botanical Garden

At Cleveland Botanical Garden, the setting shifted to flowers, stone paths, and leafy backgrounds. Yariana’s pink gown stood out against the greenery without taking attention away from her expressions.

We created a mix of wide portraits and closer photographs: her dress arranged along stone steps, a playful moment beside a trellis, and a portrait framed by an arch of greenery. Varying the distance and setting helped the collection show both the place and Yariana’s personality.

One of my favorite photographs places her beneath the garden’s stone arches. The curved architecture frames her gown, while flowers and foliage bring texture and color to the scene.

Sharing the Moment with Family and Loved Ones

The portrait session also made room for the people celebrating with Yariana. Alongside the posed group photographs are candid exchanges, smiles, and a playful photograph around a tree-stump table. Those moments add something different to the individual portraits: a record of the connections that made the day hers.

Downtown views complete the collection, including a photograph beside the Cleveland script sign with the skyline in the background. From the Hilton preparations to the Botanical Garden portraits, these photographs celebrate Yariana and the city that framed her quinceañera story.
